I have spent the last few weeks finishing off some UFO's in my basket and slowly giving my sewing room a good clean out.

My Patchwork Village quilt that became a table runner.

This little quilt made from Hemming House has been sitting in my basket for at least two years. I am so happy that it is now quilted and bound, and although green is not really my colour I really like it. This will go away to be given as a gift.

My FIS 2011 BOM table topper all finished.

My three Pure cushions finished and displayed on the lounge in my bedroom.

As a treat for working so hard on my UFO's I made this bag last week. This would have to be one of the easiest and quickest bags I have ever made. The pattern is called "Market Bag" by Sarandipity and I bought the pattern at the Sydney Quilt Show last year. It has been sitting in my Wish List pile for a while now and decided I needed a new bag to take to GDITC at Nundle in three weeks. I used some fantastic bag pellon that I purchased on sale when our local quilt shop closed down a while back. It is really stiff and has given the bag a fantastic shape.
I am now off to try and work out how to make a paper pieced pincushion using an apple core shape for the swap at GDITC. I think I will be scratching my head with this one - wish me luck.
