Quilts, Swaps and Handmade Totes

Even though this blog has been very quiet I have been very busy with a lot of stitching.

I just love the Marmalade range of fabric by Bonnie & Camille and have been eyeing off the jelly rolls that I have in my little shop.   After seeing some Spools quilts on Instagram I decided to make one too.

My online stitching group Friends In Stitching have a birthday swap every year.  My swap partner this year was Sue and her birthday was earlier this month.   The theme for this year was to make something that featured a friend saying.   This is the cushion that I made.

I also made a mug rug and sent some other little goodies but in typical Kylie fashion I forgot to take photos!

I have also had my head down over the last few days making some handmade tote bags to sell in my new Made It Store – www.madeit.com.au/redraspberryquilts

The top three bags have been made using the latest Happy Go Lucky range by Bonnie & Camille

This one has been made using a mix of Ruby, Vintage Modern and Marmalade

Each bag measures 30cm wide x 27cm high x 15 cm deep.

They are fully lined with two inside pockets which have been trimmed in co-ordinating fabric.

Hopefully I will be back soon with some more stitching to show.
